Customers and funders: our first purchase order comes from NCP Industries, and three awarded grants — from Michigan EGLE, DTE Energy and NextCycle Michigan — fund the work alongside private capital. Additionally, we have been working with the Michigan DNR and BoatUS Foundation and are a featured speaker for the latter’s upcoming Turning the Tide Summit. 

Research: we work with the University of Michigan, Oak Ridge and Pacific Northwest National Laboratories, Johnston Engineering and RTI International to validate the chemistry and scale.

Ecosystem: equipment makers, engineering firms and Michigan’s climate-tech community give a lean team the reach of a much larger one.
